Chemical Dependency Counselor Program

The Depatment of Psychology offers a full range of courses in the field of psychology that can be applied to certificate programs, Associate of Arts diplomas, and many of which are transferable to the Cal State or the UC systems.  In addition to traditional psychology courses, the Department offers courses leading to a Chemical Dependency Counselor certificate.  The courses are taught by 8 full - time faculty, as well as adjunct faculty; and are offered at the Main Campus, the South Gate Educational Center in South Gate - as well as an expanding number of other off campus locations.
