is pleased to offer our students the opportunity to compete for two scholarships:
1) Department of Psychology Scholarship
Eligible students will have a general College grade point average of 3.2, and a GPA of 3.4 in three or more psychology courses.
Amount of award: $500.
Application deadline: 10th May.
2) John Ortiz Memorial Scholarship (2 Scholarships Available)
Students must be enrolled in the Chemical Dependency Counsellor Certificate Program, have a general grade point average of 3.0 in 9 credit units (3 courses) in the CDC Program.
Amount of award: $300.
Application deadline: 24th May by 5 pm.

Applications that will considered must include the following:
1) A 1 to 2 page essay outlining why you believe that you are well qualified for, and deserving of, the scholarship (family situation, personal challenges and accomplishments, etc.). Include your academic career goals (including transer to University and / or specific career plans) as they relate to psychology and / or chemical dependency.
